Shallow Water Buoyancy Foam

Our range of shallow water buoyancy foam, manufactured by Diab Group and Gurit, is qualified for use in seawater depths from the surface down to 800 MSW, with densities ranging from 100 to 330 kg/m3 

A unique copolymer formulation, engineered to meet the demands for both high-performance and low-density, these materials can be widely used in submarines, ROVs, and AUVs.  

The closed-cell structure of the material, results in a high water resistance and ensures buoyancy is maintained over time.  

Shallow water buoyancy materials are available in a wide range of sizes and thicknesses ready for use.  

Finished shallow water buoyancy modules are manufactured to exact customer drawings and specifications with the option for the addition of a polyurethane (PU) protective coating for abrasion and impact resistance. Custom markings and the addition of custom paint finishes is also available.
