Junior Field Sales Executive

Circa £26,000 per annum, Nationwide

  • Hours per week: 40 (08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday)
  • Remote Working/Field Based

We are seeking a Junior Field Sales Executive to play a key role in developing new business and maintaining client relationships within the manufacturing sectors.

This field-based customer facing role requires energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for sales, as well as the ability to identify opportunities, present technical products, and drive sales growth.

Key Tasks/ Accountabilities

  • Proactively identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular on-site visits and ongoing engagement.
  • Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the benefits of our products.
  • Take initiative in generating leads, following up on sales inquiries, and securing new orders.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including production and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to stay ahead in the field.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote products and expand your client base.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular sales reports.
  • Conduct focused research into relevant markets and industries to aid sales strategy.
  • Undertake and successfully complete a structured Sales Development Programme.

 

The Successful Applicant

 Essential

  • A good level of secondary Education Maths, English and Science
  • A proven record of accomplishment in sales (both cross sell and upselling strategies within existing Accounts)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Full UK driving license

Desirable

  • A relevant degree (e.g., Business, Engineering, Materials Science)
  • An interest in manufacturing and engineering
  • Some experience in sales, account management, or customer service
  • Experience using Salesforce
